Today my husband, my mum, my daughter and I went to the Eifel HIlls. I bought a beautiful Matrona replika and took some photos of the Matronae altar stone opposite the church of Pesch. Then we went to Matrona's temple in Pesch.
Afterwards we drove on to Euskirchen. In 2008 they have built a labrynth there, right in front of the courthouse. It is made from stone and herbs, and there is a circle of seven beautiful sculptures of women there. They are called "Frau", that is "Woman", and they were made by the artist Gesa Krieg. At the labrynth's entrance it says that the theme is "Woman and feminine forces and aspects in everybody's lives, as they were described in many cultures of the world".
